Charity
“Relief is the distinguishing mark of a Mason’s heart.”
Romans 12:13 (NLT) – When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
Proverbs 3:27 – Always be willing to lend a hand or provide support when it’s within your means to do so.
At the Most Worshipful James Ferguson Grand Lodge of Georgia, charity is more than just an act—it is a sacred obligation and one of the foundational pillars of Freemasonry. As Masons, we are taught to extend the hand of relief to the distressed, support the less fortunate, and act as stewards of compassion in our communities.

Through every act of charity, we reaffirm our role as builders—not only of temples made with hands, but of stronger, kinder, more unified communities.
